Льыоравэтльан - The second training course-2006 in ''Birlik''

Since November 7, 2006 the regional public organization Information Center of Indigenous Peoples of the Altai Republic “Birlik” is holding the second training course-2006 “Education in the field of human rights and rights of indigenous peoples”.

The following participants were elected to the group of interns for the training course:
Sergey Kyzayev, male, Tubalar, “Al’bagan” community, Kebezen’ village, Turochak Region, Altai Republic;
Lev Nerbyshev, male, Khakas, Abakan, Khakasia Republic, businessman;
Alexander Krachnakov, male, Chelkan, Turochak, Altai Republic, the leading expert of the regional administration on indigenous issues of Turochak Region;
Natalya Aksantayeva, female, Kumandin, Shunarak village, Turochak Region, Altai Republic, unemployed;
Alexander Bakashev, male, Chelkan, Talon village, Turochak Region, Altai Republic, now establishing the family community;
Irina Sumachakova, female, Telengit, member of “Kaan-Kurai” community, Kurai village, Kosh-Agach Region, Altai Republic;
Olga Kachakova, female, Telengit, Ulagan, Altai Republic, leading expert of the regional adminitration on indigenous issues of Ulagan Region;
Boris Poposhev, male, Altai-Kizhi, Ust-Koksa, Altai Republic, teacher of physical culture.

In the framework of the training course, the interns have studied international legislation on human rights, rights of indigenous peoples, have started learning federal legislation. The head of “Birlik” has organized the meeting with the Chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture, Mass Media and Public Unities, the deputy of the State Meeting El Kurultai of the Altai Republic from the Ulagan Region and the lawyer on land legislation, Maria Demina.
