Electronic database of small-numbered indigenous peoples of the North was created in Krasnoyarsk Krai. Valentina Bokova, head of the Agency on Support of Small-Numbered Indigenous Peoples of Krasnoyarsk Krai, announced that the database was created to monitor small-numbered indigenous peoples and their living conditions. They plan to gather information about every indigenous representative of the North his place of birth, family, family community or public organization affiliation. It is also necessary to have a notion about his husbandry and what he needs to manage it. The database is oriented to specialists, public organizations dealing with small-numbered indigenous peoples of the North in the first place. Today the database is being filled with information about northerners. The information is gathered directly in northern territories. The information is provided on voluntary lines. At present computer programs containing the database have been already installed in Evenkia, Taymyr, Turukhansk
