International Youth Center of UNESCO in Ural

Representatives of 23 countries will get together on August 18 in Sverdlovsk Oblast to lay International Youth Center of UNESCO.
The Center will aim to preserve and promote indigenous peoples' culture, develop a technology of ecological education of children.
The complex will be able to take 200 people at once. The Center will be endowed by the UNESCO's own funds, private donations of enthusiasts, oblast budget money allocated for the Programme "Ural Village".
It is no accident that Village Ufa-Shigiri has been chosen for the Center: cultures of many indigenous peoples are combined there. The project is regarded as a unique one, for there are no centers like that in the world yet.
